In just over 24 hours, we will experience an overwhelming sense of joy. That is - if we were to pass our final term exam. 6 weeks of training in jurong island will come to a bitter-sweet ending for this is my last week there. Some will miss manning the DCS, some will for the shift work or enjoying all meals on order. Whatever it is, hell month is over and holidays, WHOOLALA.

 I just caught the flu bug after returning from Osaka. Really must say that Japan is one of the best places to live. From the people to the food, cleaniness to accommodation and transport to government. Every area certainly seem better than all other countries I have been to.

Good points

1.      The Japanese are very civic minded and they always put others before self. They put a lot of attention to their appearance and cares for the public. I remembered seeing the bus captain smoking his cigarette and dumping the ashes into a paper cup and then throwing the cup away.

2.      In Japan, you will never find a single litter on the roads. Not many cars, pedestrians never jay walk

3.      The food there can never be beaten by any shop around in Singapore. Especiall the ramen shops. IMBA.

4.      Crazy selection of drinks from the vending machine. Not like what u see in sinapore, the usual coke, green tea, ice lemon and what shit .

5.      the convenience store always pack with goodies u will have never ending selection .

6.      every one including people in business suits travel around the area in bicycle. The simple care for the environment

7.  No thieves. you can leave yr bicycle unlocked or put ur phone/camera aside . no one will take them.

8.  A limosine 

9.  There are toilets in some public buses to do yr poo.

10. People there are fashionistas. could not find a single person wearing the usual slippers , singlet and berms. and look at their hairstyles.

11. There is no such thing as having a legal age to smoke. the govt trust that u abide by the rules. so long as u have the money, u could buy a pack from the vending machine. they are damn cheap.

12. Starbucks double shot expresso.

13. Taxi and bus drivers wear a suit and tie. what the hell. and they dont talk on the phone,swearing and cursing like that in beautiful singapore. appearance to them is number one.

14. Toilets so clear , u could even sleep on the floor. toilet bowls with a mechanism to warm the seats and a water jet to shoot ur arsehole after u bomb hiroshima.

15. Believe it or not , they sell such thing as MCPORK in macdonalds10.  

too bad no ferraris and porsche. only toyotas and diahatsus
